ASGI (Asynchronous Server Gateway Interface) is a standard interface between web servers, frameworks, and Python applications that supports asynchrony. It is designed as an asynchronous replacement for WSGI (Web Server Gateway Interface), which is used in most synchronous Python web applications.
Why is ASGI important?
Asynchrony and performance: ASGI allows multiple requests to be processed simultaneously, which greatly improves application performance. This is especially important for modern web applications that require high processing and response speeds.
